Well, according to head IZ writer, Eric Trueheart & supported by voice actors Richard Horvitz and Melissa Fahn, Gaz was going to side with ZIM during the final battle. As a result of saving the Irken race from exinction (at the hands of Dib, a potentially vengeful Tak,Β and the combined might of the Meekrob and the Resisty) with the help of Skoodge, Tenn, Zita, Larb...and Gaz, ZIMΒ would'veΒ usurped Red and Purple as the newest Tallest - or the initial Almighty SmallestΒ - taking Gaz as his consort (i.e. future queen).
