Arrow shivered as the cold autumn air nipped at his skin underneath his coat. He shook his shaggy pelt to warm himself up.

As Arrow stepped from the shadows, he could feel the warmth of the weakened sun against his fur. To him it felt a huge relief to be once again part of the Light. To feel its caress stroking against one's pelt, as though in a loving embrace.
Everything had gone so drastically wrong after Shadow became Lord. Lord snorted Arrow, He was no Lord. More like Belly Crawler.

If only their father was alive still. He would have sort this mess out. There would be no disappearances, no deaths. Certainly no hell bent Shadow. These days only a few had managed to flee Shadow's reign. Those who couldnt, lived in constant fear. In fear of the Fanged Ones.
Staying on the run, living outcasted and outlawed wasnt the life of a Stag. Not for any deer. It wasnt in the nature.

Arrow gave a long exhausted sigh. His breath billowed in front of him. Up and fanning out. Light shone through it, causing it to brighten and sparkle. It captivated him and held him in a fascinated gaze. Then, just as quickly, the sun went in. And so did the warmth.

Arrow gave a flinching shudder and turned sharply, glancing over his shoulder.

Times were getting desperate.

Arrow; named after Swift-Arrow (Runner and Scout, loyal friend to Strider), twin brother to Shadow (Strider's "brother", apprentice and closest friend), Strider's son, known by all as the Red Sun (cos he's red and gives hope to all, like when the liquid Sun in Winter promises the of bounty Spring).
Fleet of foot and silent of step, Arrow is sharp and can sometimes be rough around the edges. He does not believe in what his brother so aggresively cleaves to. Both were expected to be Lords of the Herd, yet Shadow yearned for power and drove his brother out.
Perhaps Allies from the North may save the Herds from this Black Thorn (Shadow)
