I love this peice, the pose, the model, the shot, the water, very inspiring and quite moving. Dig it man, entirely.

I get a story out of it, about suicide, or someone who is suicidal and trying to overcome this depression... at least thats what i get...

anyhow... most excellent, keep up the great work... wish i was this good

Well, you've achieved quite well in the artistic aspect. These technical aspects... well, people have ways of getting around them - I'm sure you'd be able to find a cost effective way of getting around such things in the future.

The water doesn't stand out as much as I would expect. It might if you add a little food coloring or a little milk.

Like the pose in this shot!

That's funny you say that, because right before I did it, I thought about putting milk in it....or food coloring but I had none of that. I'll keep that in mind for next time. And I completely agree.

A reflection of the stupid ceiling light!
UGH.

Awww, ugh indeed. Lighting is perhaps the trickiest of them all... It would have been perfect if the patch wasn't there.

Well, instead of an elaborate lighting setup (coming in at angles that won't reflect off the water and into the camera), I think you'd be able to reduce the effect of reflections by adding a Circular Polarizing Filter (a.k.a. "CPL") to your lens (if you hadn't done so) - then you'd should have enough of that patch of missing feet there... and then you would be able to PS the light away while keeping the image of your feet.

Yeah. I haven't gotten around to buying a polarizing filter. But I sure will.
I'm sure I'll reshoot the same thing again, with one, when I get it. Thanks for the advice.
Usually I use avaliable lighting, and natural light, I'm not much of a fake light kind of girl, but sometimes
i wish i was for indoors, because ceiling lights really fucking suck. I eventually will buy a flash set lighting kit thing.
