George, nice shot.. BUT instead of iso 1250 and f11, you should
be shooting f7.1 and iso 800 or less. with a long lens you don't
want to shoot high fstops as they aren't as sharp and your shutter
speeds suffer. PS its a Palm Warbler.. don

Hi Don, Thank you.
I'm still learning this lens and it's capabilities.... when I was shooting along the river bank, it was somewhat dark with lots of shade.. then these birds flew in and started to feed next to the waters edge... I didn't even think to change the ISO setting to compensate for the difference in light conditions and ... I did come away with a few shots that would've been neat but they were blown out by being to light! Still making some dumb mistakes....
