Hi, A few weeks ago I found a Monarch Butterfly chrysalis. I went back this morning to shoot another sequence of it emerging. Last year I got some really cool pics of the butterfly as it hatched out. Well to make a long story short.. I was there from sun up and waited for a couple hours, and it did change, but it never came out. I know tomorrow when I go back and check, it'll have hatched and only an empty shell will remain. I didn't feel too bad about leaving, as I already have some good pics of this process in my files.

this pic shows it at sun rise and I'm posting another pic taken just before I packed it in and left.
