Ah, DeviantART. The land of fetishes. A devious place of art so risky even the stuff that should be censored wants to censor some stuff. Now, it's not like that for everyone, of course, yet, if DeviantART was known for only one thing, it'd be fetish art. And one of the most prominent is inflation. Characters getting an air/liquid tube shoved in their mouth (or worse, up their butt) and blowing up like a balloon. Apparently people find this hot. Here is my opinion.

If it was realistic?
Despite what the online community would like you to believe, getting air or some other vast quantity of gas or fluid trapped inside the body is a horrifying way to die, with death occurring either from barotrauma or from the rupturing of internal organs and tissues. Several people have met their end in this way, including an unfortunate Indian car washer in Mumbai who met his end after his friend decided to jam an air hose straight up his rectum, then turned it on... I was honestly thinking of making a (would need to be censored) parody of inflation pics, where the guy either bursts like a bloody, gory firework and leaves behind human confetti, or the aforementioned internal rupturing happens and whatever that looks like from the outside we get to see.

Why do people find this hot?
I honestly have no idea. I just don't see the fun in it. Like, you do you, but this just plain doesn't make sense.

My personal opinion?
While I wouldn't indulge in it myself, I respect your opinion on what's hot and what's not, and you can keep on drawing. One of my close Deviant friends, PTCartoonEspeon, is an inflation lover, and I don't want to nuke our friendship. Just don't try it in real life whatever you do, don't shove it in uninterested people's faces, and have a nice day.
