Description Blonde Wolf on top, Golden Wolf on the bottom. Both are about the same size; both have heavy winter fur, though the Golden Wolf has longer guard hairs. I love the colors of the Golden Wolf and the patterns of the Blonde.

I didn't kill either of these wolves, nor did I buy them from anyone who did. If you don't like it, don't look.

XD Agreed. I got a lot of comments last year that my cherry blossom tree pictures were nice. I had to remind people I wasn't the one who made the trees I just pointed the camera at them ^x^ Credit where it's due

I have the same opinions as you seem to on these with liking the patterns on the blonde but also the colors on the gold. I think that the colors on the gold wolf are just enchanting through, and I would probably keep the golden if I were you

Ooh! They're both gorgeous
I like the blonde wolf a teensy bit more. Dunno why, though.

Thank you! I'd never seen one like the golden one before, though I had seen one similar to the blonde. Both are pretty unique nevertheless. I'm happy I have them.

Welcome!
Interesting indeed. Do you know anything about their origin???
PS
Your nickname sounds very ear-catchy, almost like some rare literature genre.

Thank you!

I know that the blonde wolf is from Alaska, and the golden one is from Canada. Both there legally taken just above the Arctic circle (most likely for population control), and have CITES permits and customs forms. Both are also male.

I can tell from the hides themselves that one was taken later in the winter than the other, and that they both have scars from fights with prey and other wolves, so they were most likely members of a pack instead of lone males. They are of average size, though the blonde wolf is pretty wide compared to the golden, so he was much fatter and well-fed. Makes sense considering he was from AK, where there is a wider variety of prey.

Welcome.

Hmmm, yeah this makes sense.

PS
AK stands for Alaska?
