This one sold within hours of my listing it on Etsy, which is a bit of a shame because I hoped to keep it around for a while. On the bright side, it paid for my trip to and from Burning Man, and will also probably cover the cost of food, water, and ice to boot.I'll posting images of a brown wolf face just like this one later this week, but it won't be fore sale until AFTER Burning Man because I'm allowing a friend to use it for her costume.
I will be donning Ashland the cougar, WHOSE EYES ARE FINALLY RIGGED WITH LEDS! And the most awesome part is that they also have three settings so that they can stay on, flash on and off slowly, or flash on and off quickly, like strobes!
NOTE: This wolf was legally taken for population control by Alaska Natives, who use the meat, bones, and rest of the hide for food, crafts, and clothing. If you have an issue with it, don't look.

I hope nobody killed the poor wolf, but found it's dead body and didn't want such an awesome animal to go to waste. It looks cool, I admit it but it also looks scary and disgusting. I'd never even dare but the head of an animal on my head. Well you can ignore this if you wish, it's just that wolf are on my list of favorite animal along with almost every animal to exist. And yes, I am an animal loving vegetarian. I just don't like people wearing the skin of animals. After all, that's how some chinchilla species became endangered.

I have a whole bunch of roadkill on my deck air-drying right now. There's nothing bad about it if you handle everything correctly. Your ancestors hunted and butchered all their own meat and made clothing from the hides without thinking it was gross for a moment; it was, and continues to be, a perfectly natural thing for people to do.

I have a coyote skin. I tried wearing it as a hat to a party once, with a rabbit pelt pinned to the back, but it might be wiser to try and make a mask. Is there any particular technique to it?

People keep wolf pelts to respect the wolf because it is dead. I have never killed anything before, but if one day I go hunting or something and kill a wolf I would want to keep the pelt. How would you like it if I just threw the pelt away? Would that be better for you?

I always wanted one of these. I have fox skin and tail,but the face is all flat for some reason,and me and my dad are trying to make it shape into the shape we want. It defiantly won't be as awesome as yours! I dont know how you do it but this as like magic! i wish i were you

It is easy to see out of for me, because I made it to fit my face. I don't like seeing the masks that are made with overly-enlarged eye-holes cut out. They don't look natural.

Beautiful mask. I think that the back of the mask's fur should be cut a little shorter, but it is still really amazing! On a side not to everyone hating, I bet you've eaten a cow or two in your life. Don't try to play innocent. In the bible (ughh I hate references like that) animals were put on earth for companionship and FOOD. I agree, it is horrid for an animal to be killed for a human. But you know what? I bet this wolf was spread out to MULTIPLE humans. Cows that are killed commonly get passed off by us. How are wolves any different? Because they're "beautiful"? Because they are "dying"? No, wolves are a flourishing species. They are my FAVORITE animal too! I have no problem with this mask. Don't be put down by these people Nature, your art is amazing!

People, its called Taxidermy, people have been doing it FOREVER Nature punk already said that if you did'nt like you shouldent look. Also Nature said It was killed for population control,and that its meat/bones etc wear used, which is a good thing at least the animal was'nt shot and killed for the hell of it. People used to carve stories into bones and wood. So if you don't like Taxidery or such just go Fuck off and stop harrassing people who either do it for a living or a hobby, if you don't like it don't comment.
