Description
The visual style that I currently use.hiding windows 7 blur is recommended if you use aero (win7 blur tweaker)
install the fonts from the extras folder

- added proper restore caption button for non aero skin
- small fixes for vertical taskbar / toolbars / grippers
- fixed white gradient on more search results page and shutdown popup separator
- touched up the calender and datepicker
- numerous small text colour tweaks (for the sake of polish)

How would I go about changing the color of the progress bar? The gray on black is really hard to see when you have any amount of screen glare.

I tried installing new Nightlies and running with no addons and on a new profile but i still get that issue where the caption window buttons are pushing the tabs down. Which in turn messes a lot of addons up for me, this is mostly apparent in windowed mode.
Had this issue since the new Firefox UI was launched in version 28 or whatever it was. Does this have anything to do with this Visual Style? I did try running with other styles however i think it must be caused by some of the .dll files in this release.

About half the time when I open start I get a transparent line above the first entry, any help with this?

I'm trying to use the fonts without the VS, I can't seem to get the font working with default Win8 Visual styles

I love this VS, awesome work.
Though, I'm not quite sure, where I have to place the explorerframe.dll's. I have 64bit and I don't know, if I have to place the 64 in sys32 or SysWOW64. I remember having explorerframes from another VS where I had to put the 64 in Sys32, and the 32 in SysWOW64, so I'm a bit confused.
But the bigger problem is: when using your VS I'm unable to open certain pictures, wether they're .jpg or .png. Same happened with Deshou VS, so something both of you are using must be the matter. With other VSs everything just works perfectly fine. I've also tried different theme patchers now, it still didn't work. But maybe it's just my odd PC, though.

Awesome theme, I may consider making some rain-meter elements for this.
Are there gonna be any updates to this? There are a few tweaks that need to be made here and there, I can send you some screen shots containing the errors I am currently getting. (Some programs get black text on a black background. It also feels like the window borders need to be a little more defined.)

ya the black text stuff is really hard to track down and most of it cant even be fixed. as for the borders, this theme is not meant to be used with aero blur enabled which is why i suggest getting rid of it with blur tweaker.
personally, i use this theme with desktop composition (aero) completely turned off.

How do I change the system font? I already used the "Window color and appearence" but it didn't change it all, like in your theme.

Well, it DID fix it at first, but I'd screwed up the theme because I reinstalled a different one, now it's back and my desktop comp is already disabled and so is Aero.

Lovely VS, but how can I prevent the dark gray backgrounds that appear on programs such as Word and Notepad? Also, where do I place taskpane bmp?

the taskpane is for people who want to use a resource editor to add it to a dll manually without having to make the image first. there is also a program called "Windows 7 Task Pane Changer" but i haven't tested it.
