Absolutely gorgeous! I'll have to visit this place one day. If you're ever in Westbank again and haven't already gone, I'd suggest visting Gellatly Nut Farm down by the lake. It's not a big place but it has some of the most magnificent trees I have ever seen.

ps-loving the bible verses that go with each picture. Beautiful idea.

Thanks. So where is Gellantly Nut Farm? I go to Westbank Once a month or so, most of the time to watch a movie, the theater in Penticton sucks.

lol the theater in Westbank sucks too when compared to Kelowna.

Turn right at the turn off at Gorman's Mill, (which will be on your left when you first come into Westbank) then right at the lights (I believe it's Gellatly Rd but possibly Glenrosa Rd), and follow it all the way down the hill. Once you get down to the bottom there will be horses on either side of you and signs directing you to the nut farm which should be the first road you come across on your right. If you have any problems let me know, but you should be fine.

Please let me know if you post any pictures from there. With my cheap camera I was unable to get any decent shots so I would love to see what you capture.

Also, if you walk just past the parking lot and the roundabout, there's a small beach there where Canadian Geese love to rest and birds of prey love to catch fish. Just so you know. Good luck!

It's a very beautiful picture. But why did you choose that as it's title? It seems odd to me (nothing rude, just curious, i do love this picture and will put it in my favourites) That you chose such a title. I may assume that you are christian or some sort of that religion, and I am Wiccan, and you chose a title that has the name of our heaven in it. The Summerland is the Wiccan "heaven" you may call it, where everybody, no matter how good or evil you were, goes in the afterlife. Why did you choose this as its title?

Very cool, I had no idea that Summerland is where Wiccan believe they go in the after life. I learn something very cool every day. The reason for the name is very simple, this flower garden is called "Summerland Gardens" seeing it is located just south of the town Summerland BC, Canada. Indeed this place could be called a "Summerland" on earth.

When I read the additional quotes, psalms and passages from your deviations, I'm always amazed as to the similarities between the core principles and ideals of different religions. It is very inspiring.
