So PKMN-WOE is currently holding wintery events and I thought I might give my boys winter outfits! Predictably, Dove's going for an edgy, all-black leather outfit. Only his scarf is white because he and Thrush swapped scarves before setting off into the forest in different groups; Thrush is worried about Dove and vice versa. Basically, their conversation went like this:

Thrush: You don’t wear white, right?
Dove: I don’t.
Thrush: Then wear this.
Dove: deadpan voice A white scarf. I’m overjoyed.
Thrush: Hear me out, Dovey. That’s to make sure that you come back.
Dove: Wha-?
Thrush: You can’t take this off until we meet again after the investigation and you can give it back to me. To my hands only.
Thrush: So if you wanna go all-black again, ya better be damn sure you come back safely. >:3c
Dove: ...
Dove: smiles and takes off his scarf Tch. If that’s the case... it’s a good thing black to you is like white to me.

I'm still in awe at how much of an edgelord he is - black leather from head to toe, that's gotta tick a box in a Mary Sue Litmus Test. I don't even know why his character works and people don't hate him yet. He does have soft, vulnerable moments in spite of his tough exterior, yes, but maybe it's also because of that sheer self-awareness of his edge. Dove knows he's an edgelord. I know he's an edgelord and I like poking fun at him for it. XD
