Another contribution to lackadaisy! I started out wanting to make a picture of rocky showing off with a face I absolutely fell in love with!Here's where I got the face from, 2nd to last panel at the very bottom: [link]
So he's in the lackadaisy speakeasy leaping over the bar in a matrix type style. The red lighting was fun to do, I freaking love lighting and shadows. Foreshortening was HARD. Took many times on the initial sketch to get the hands right, and they still aren't perfect...
Why is he NOT holding guns?!?! Well besides a little inspiration from another dA member who drew something involving penguins with invisible guns, I think Zib said it best,
"No! No one who flails his arms around as much as you gets to hold a gun!"

Gosh, I can't believe I forgot to comment here. XD Anywho, this is so awesome. Not only did you capture Rocky's character PERFECTLY, but you drew him really, really well. On top of that, I fell in love with his expression too. XD And thank you very much for not giving that poor boy guns-- he means well, he really does, but he just should not be trusted. XD

Thanks! I wish I could remember who it was that made the artwork with penguins on motorcycles chasing down someone with invisible guns! I've only seen a few episodes of yugioh abridged and now I need to see more!!

Okay, this made me laugh. It's really the only sort of shootout he should ever be allowed to participate in.
The foreshortening is well done, I think - especially on his left hand. Nice work on the lighting and expression too.
