Oura is a demon (like most of my other entries LOL), age 16. Her rank is orange~

Wow, that's a long time >< I usually spend that much time on a colored drawing. But, then again...it depends. I guess if there's lots of detail, which there was on that picture of yours, it takes longer.

I don't really fish much, but I go netting for turtles a lot with my dad. It helps to keep me from cutting my sides and back in the woods, and I can carry band aids. Summer is usually when I tear up my knees... YES I'M ONE OF THOOOOSE PEOPLE...

OHEMGEE~ TURTLEEESSSSS~~~
I. LOVE. TURTLES.
I used to find little groups of baby softshell turtles in my neihgborhood around the lake, and I would keep them in one of my fish tanks until they were big enough to be set free :'D They were SO CUTE. And they would always bury themselves in the dirt because...well, they like doing that I guess. But lately I haven't found any new ones D:
But yeah, me and my friends used to go looking for them around the edge of the lake~ Turtles are so cute C:
LOL what do you mean by "thoooooose people"? xD Like, there aren't really any "woods" where I live, but...there are parks :'D Like, woodsy parks. Woodsy-ish. Lol idk.
There used to be a huge swamp next to my neighborhood when I was, like, five, but it's now a huge housing development OTL

We usually go hunting for turtles and Frogs, but Turtles pose more of a challenge. It's more fun altogether~ We can catch them several ways: Kayaking, that's the most common one, at our cottage. It's on a lake, and there's a HUGE swamp. But there's a lot of horseflies and you get bit a lot. And then at the 'Turtle Spot' and we wade in the water. There's a highway overpass with a small sidewalk overlooking it, and my dad stands up there and points to where the turtles are and stuff. It's so much fun~
Oh my god... Softshells. We can't catch those no matter what we do... It's so hard because they're really fast in the water and I can't catch up to them. That and they bite. HARD. Some people call them Softshelled Snapping turtles. We mostly catch Painted turtles, Map turtles (Also pretty hard to catch), Snapping turtles, and Red eared sliders (which are commonly mistaken for map turtles).
Of course, we can only catch them in the summer because it's FREEZING and SNOWING in the winter. We got like 3 feet last winter. OTL
Sofshelled Turtles like the mud, because it warms in the sun quickly and they can either bury themselves or slide into the water to make a quick getaway.

Omgeeeee~ That sounds so cool, though *A* I've only gone kayaking once and that was in 7th grade for a field trip xD Ummm I did used to go with my friend to this place in Key Largo, it was under a highway pass too, where her dad and her dad's friends used to like to go fishing. One time we found a sea cucumber there. My friend's brother picked it up, but it started like squirting out its guts or something so we put it back LOL.
I love red eared sliders~ They're SO CUTEEE *u* But I've never actually caught one of them before, I've only seen them lol. I heard that they weren't being sold in pet stores anymore because they were endangered or something, though. Maybe it's because people have been letting them out into lakes and stuff.
You know those Pleco garbage eaters? They're those fish that you put in fishtanks to eat up algae and dirt and stuff, they're like black and spotted? There's a HUGE one of those in our lake, it's like the size of a catfish. And I heard they eat up little fish, like minoes, once they get big like that D:

Well, I've been looking for them for over 8 years now, and my dad has for 30, so it's kind of what I do.
Wow. They're all the way down south now? I live in Michigan, and they're up here too. But they're not even close to endagered... We do have the endagered wood turtle though! I caught one once~ Red eared sliders are confusing meh...
eew... Sea cucumbers are gross. That's the most bizarre thing ever. A cucumber squirted its guts at you...
I don't believe I've heard of those. Then again, We live across the country from eachother (North to south, at least.)...Yeah, turtles eat fish here, too. It's only, they have to avoid birds and boats. A HUGE snapping turtle got hit by a boat in my lake. It was as big as if I put my arms in a circle around it, I couldn't touch fingers. It was as big around as a frikin' TREE.

It was strange xD But it was interesting, too. Weird how different animals have different ways of defending themselves, for example having poisonous guts like a sea cucumber :U
LOL well Pleco garbage eaters are usually sold at pet stores, actually. And they're fish, not turtles. Fish with those suckers on their mouths, so that they can eat algae and bacteria and stuff. They don't usually eat other fish until they get realllyyy big.

Plus, I think the same thing happens to manatees. They get hit by boats and stuff, and get scars all over their bodies or their fins broken and stuff. It's so sad ><

No, it died... D: The shell was cracked wide open. But it looked about 10-15 years old, though. It's head was as big around as a tree. My dad buried it, though!! It got a semi-formal funeral~
Yeah, I've heard that about manatees. My mom loves those things... The only time I've ever seen one was at seaworld, though...

Manatees are SO adorable~ One time in my English class, we had to write the beginning of a story using a prompt about manatees and then switch it around in a group of people, each person adding on to the story. I think it ended up being something like a gangster manatee named Slim Shady who had all the mermaids as girlfriends. LOL my friends are weird xD
Also, there was a manatee in this inlet by a dock, I think I was on vacation when we saw it, but we kept feeding it water from a hose and the manatee LOVED it. It's strange, I guess they love drinking freshwater xD

Yes~ It's kind of like a really exclusive thing, because only about 15 people get in every year. I got in last year and took care of 4 bearded dragons, three leapord geckos (Idontknowhowtospellit)and a Tokay Gecko. IT WAS FUN~
/i know... It's so sad because it could have been avoided it they'd TURN OFF THE STEREO AT 3 IN THE MORNING!!!
My friends are weird too, don't worry. I played that game with them, and we ended up with a fish named bubba who does ballet and doesn't want the members of his street gang to find out. He also looked like Al Capone... in... fish. form.
That would be the greatest thing ever. I wish that would happen to me.... All the interesting stuff happens to my friends... All i have is my turtle friends. THEY WOULD NEVER LEAVE MEEEEEE...

I know we have a horticulture class at my school, but it's all about taking care of huge tubs of fish and planting trees around the school. I wanted to do it, but I was more interested in art and Japanese as my electives :U
Tokay gecko? Never heard of it, lol. Here we have tons of geckos. I always find them like on the walls and stuff--it's so creepy. And roaches. OHMYGOD DON'T GET ME STARTED ON ROACHES. /explodes

It wasn't that special, really. I think all manatees like to eat freshwater. And lettuce and stuff :U AND TURTLE FRIENDS ARE AWESOME. FFFFFFFFFF-I wish I had art!!!! I didn't get to have art last yearrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Even though the teacher is the most interesting man alive. Every day, he takes a hammer to his car, drinks beef stew and/or tomato juice out of a jar, and yells at everybody for being too noisy when the class is literally silent. HE'S MAH FAVORITE TEACHERRRR~
Eeh, there wasn't reallly much to do with him. I was apparently really dangerous, because he bit people, and he would try to escape if you opened the cage. ...he was boring. My friend has roaches at her house? And we had crickets in garbage cans in the animal room~ They were to feed all the lizards, the newt, and sometimes the snakes. AND MAN, THERE'S A LOT OF SNAKES IN THERE. And caimans~
We call them the tiki hut people, due to the actual tiki hut on their land. They play music even when they go to bed, and turn it off some time after we wake up... I HATE those people...
Al Capone is a famous mafia leader or something. He was on the FBIs most wanted list for like 10 years. Then he went to Alcatraz(I suppose you know what that is).

Toads are bad! They smell bad, and they used to live in my garage a while ago. They would eat my cat's food that we left sitting out D: And they would sit in my cat's water bowl and make it all gross and smelly and stuff.
Of course, this was back when I had a cat.

AWWWWWWWW that's so sadddddddddddddd... My cat goes in and out as he pleases. He's actually very spoiled, but he's an amazing cat. If my dad is sitting in a chair, and he taps his collarbone (I don't know, my cat is weird) and meows, he comes and sits on my dad's chest and licks his face. And when my mom is coming around to wake my sister and I up, he follows her. Then when she makes breakfast, too.
AND he's super puffy. And black. He has super cool eyes though~
