Today's prompt fits a game that I've been trying to play through gradually for some time now - The Last Guardian. The game is made by the same team behind Shadow of the Colossus and Ico, and I love it to bits so far. It's about the journey of a boy that finds the creature Trico and over the course of the game, as they both try to get back to their homes, they become close friends.
The controls are clunky but if you've ever played the previous two Team Ico games, you'll be used to them by now and the AI can be dumb sometimes but so far, it's been a super enjoyable ride and I love how much the narration of the boy gives the player insight into how he feels about Trico or what he may be thinking at some moments, it makes the whole experience a lot more personal and heartfelt. (he sounds older in the audio, so it's implied that he's looking at these events in retrospective.) All in all, more art than an actual game like a typical Team Ico game, but beautiful nonetheless.

This scene in the drawing is the very first time you see Trico, he's chained up and injured with spears sticking out of him.
If there was one thing I wished I had done differently, it would be making the drawing more bright, as I screwed up the lighting, it's not supposed to be that dark lol.
