Tonari no Totoro (となりのトトロ) translated "My Neighbor Totoro" is Studio Ghibli animated fantasy film which was written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The film was released in Japan in 1988. My Neighbor Totoro was one of Studio Ghibli's memorable film in late 80s. The story was simple but combined multiple layers of thoughtfulness.When I was a little kid, watching My Neighbor Totoro gave me hope and strength to practice and learn to become artist. I still keep that idea in mind after years.

It is pleasing to learn that this film gave you inspiration. It has helped me too, through many dark nights of depression. Always my favourite. So uplifting.
