Lairdae that you make on your own will be labeled as Generation 1. Just put the number '1' there if it's your own design that you made from scratch or an adopted Laridae that were labelled as Generation 1.

Generation 2 or higher need to be Laridae that have been bred (yes we do breeding, but for a price).

Breeding MechanicsIn the reference sheet template, you might have noticed that there is a 'Generation' section in the profile.
For all freshly made Laridae you make on your own from scratch, they are automatically set to Generation 1 or Gen1.
When two Laridaes who are both Gen1 mate and breed, their fawns will be Gen2. Gen2 Laridaes will make Gen3 babies, and so on.
So why are you encouraged to breed? Other than to getting pretty neat designs from the parents, you get more Laridae babies the higher the Generation goes plus might have a chance to give them forbidden traits!
For example, Gen1 parents will be able to have a chance to have 1-2 babies, and in rare cases they can have 3.
Gen2 parents will be able to have a chance to have 3-4 babies, and in rare cases, 5.
Gen3 parents will be able to have 4-6 babies, and in rare cases, 7 and maybe a handful of forbidden traits for your batch!
Breeders will be informed once they buy a slot for more information.

ok! and i made a sketch of my Lairdae and with her parents would it still be
generation 2 or still 1?

Because they are all made from scratch by yourself, they are all generation 1.

Only approved Laridaes who were made via Breeding Slots or Stork Delivery feature will be Generation 2 or above.
