So excited that these characters are both in the next X Zone game together. I'd be more excited for it if the first one wasn't the most repetitive game I have ever played.

Awesome artwork! As for the critique part, my only suggestion is to maybe add some color or grooves to Hotsuma's sword. Otherwise, Hotsuma's sword tends to blend too much into the background. i.e. At first glance, I could see Hiryu's weapon easily but I thought Hotsuma was somehow blocking with his own hand. It took me a bit to spot that Hotsuma was indeed mirroring Hiryu via both men wielding weapons. Adding something other than the black-and-white curve of Hotsuma's sword might fix the unintended optical illusion. Kanji engraved into the white space in Hotsuma's sword, maybe?

Thanks and noted. Yeah i wanted to put the markings on his sword there but i couldn't find a good pic of them and I got lazy and gave up looking. You are spot on though, i should have put it at an angle. After i finished it i realised that i wanted to see his other arm more. I should have put it at an angle.

Tough call. I love Strider more, but I honestly think Hotsuma would win. I think he has a slight speed advantage and he sliced through demons like butter, which would be bad news for any options Strider might carry into battle with him. But I dunno...
