Guess what's back? That's right! It's now time for the third installment of my Ninjas vs. Pirates series! This time around I have One Piece's Nami going up against Naruto's Sakura. There was some confusion of the shortness of Sakura's hair, so let me assure you that her hair is actually blowing in the wind behind her head (see?), so it's not too short. It is post-haircut Sakura so it is short, but no as short as some might suspect.
For the 4th installment I am planning on having Sanji face off against Shikamaru. Look for it, yeah?
Done in MS Paint after being drawn by hand and scanned. Background done in Photoshop 7.0.

its hard to say who would win here, it all depends on what season the characters are from. both are really smart and have a range of technique. later on they both gain great power . sakura is super strong later and nami gains weather control with her perfect clima tact ( perfect climatact is a better version of the clima tact)

You should do
Usopp vs Lee (or Sai would work too I suppose 
Sanji vs Kakashi
Chopper vs Akamaru
and robin and franky against others who I currently can't match up yet XD

Usopp and Lee is definitely on my list, however I was planning on Kakashi/Shanks and (possibly) Sanji/Shikamaru, although physically Sanji and Kakashi definitely parallel well . . .
For Chopper I was thinking maybe a transformed Chopper against transformed Kiba and Akamaru.

What I was going for was sort of a . . . Nami attacking downwards . . . Sakura dodging and then using the pole to run and possibly flip over Nami . . . Who knows? I certainly am without a clue.

Actually, I'm more concerned with Nami's face. Sakura's is too small in proportion to her body, (especially the neck, which seems a tad overlarge,) but Nami's eyes are far too low and -- if this is even possible for an anime character -- too big. Even though the characters obviously descend from different art styles, I would recommend keeping them somewhat proportional.
