Thank you very much, that is great to hear. Originally I had a better location for these photos, but when the fireworks started going off, I had to re-locate. I was happy with the results, but the first location was far nicer.

Location is everything. At the Ottawa show I was sitting downwind of the smoke, unfortunately.

Location, and timing... when I did the Canada day show, they started an hour earlier than the Independence day show. I was very disappointed with most of my Canada Day photos (I posted the best 5 of each, but I took 100's), I think a few of them, you could still see the sun in it (well not really, but you may as well have, it was shortly after the sun went beyond the horizon... far too early).

Thanks, its pretty much straight out of my camera like that, very minor colour correction and cropping.
