Gorgeous... Amazing use of negative space, as was already mentioned, but certainly deserves another...
I love the eyes, as well.. Very wonderfully communicates a deprivation of the senses and inability to observe.
I really love this. The bland background also helps to add to the theme of emptiness, and the blood certainly communicates the agony of silence.

negative space! The cropping is great, and so is the
work on the eye!

actually adds to the feeling of the shot.
