He was originally Scar’s son named Betray, seems like younger me had a mind a little… undeveloped. Anyways, his only backstory was "oh he was scar’s son and heir but he did something bad and scar got mad and he wasn’t the future king anymore". I decided to do this poor little guy justice and actually make him an OC

First of all, Betray had to go. I decided to rename him Ole, which means Woe in Swahili. Second of all, the colors… EAUGH! I had to make something eye pleasing, so here we are. I made his colors more soft and warm.
Now, the scar… Honestly, what was that scar supposed to be? Because I myself don’t even know! It seems like a black eye, but how exactly did he get a black eye if Scar hit him with his claws? Well, I had to fix that. I made his scar a long one, that goes from eyes to eyebrow. This scar also caused him vision problems, which is why his eye is half-closed.

Now, his backstory… I don’t think he had a mother at first, so I’ll give Sarafina this role.

Ole was born on a litter of four alongside his three unnamed sisters. Ole was born weak and fragile, which caused Scar disgust. How come the only male born in the littler be so weak?! Was Mufasa trying to get revenge? He didn’t know…
Sarafina begged for Scar to not end the poor cub’s life, and luckily, he listened. Ole grew up as a normal cub in the Pride, except he was a target of the Hyenas. He’d be often bullied by Scar’s "little" friend group, and would almost always be the last one to eat. Sarafina was no fool, she knew Scar was doing this on purpose, so, she made sure to bring her son a piece of meat whenever.
As Ole grew older and finally reached adulthood, he met someone. A lovely male rogue named Jabari, whom he’d soon fall in love with. The affair quickly fell apart as the Hyenas were always on the borders, and there was really no place to hide anymore as the Kingdom had become dead and vast.

Jabari’s fate was unknown, but Ole was heartbroken… He got taken to Scar, and so an argument began. The two lions argued for hours and hours, Scar was not mad, he was… furious! He didn’t care for gender, but yes, for blood. How dare his own blood dare have an affair with a rogue? In Scar’s vision, rogues were fragile, weak, cowards… He would never approve his son’s relationship. And from that argument, he got his scar, and was eventually exiled.

welp, that’s it. I’m sorry if anything seems weird, it’s 1 am and I usually don’t stay up so late…
