Description Painter 11. Glee fanart.

A little cartoon as a break from bigger work. Inspired by the Sam/Kurt thread on Glee Forum and its catch-phrase "A Scooter for Jimmy" (For an explanation go here: [link] )

And here's a link to the Jimmy Epilogue of this cartoon.
[link]

Different from my usual Painter 11 technique, I used the Watercolor-Brush for most of this, to preserve the pencil-work. I then used the Real!pencil-brush for highlights and detail.

ETA:
Looking back through the thread I linked I realize, the more clear explanation was probably in the Sam/Kurt thread. So I'll try to explain.

(Some of this is quoted from the thread I linked.)
"Listen to "The Most Wonderful Day Of the Year" " (The Glee cast version from their Christmas Album)

"Sam: A jack in the box waits for children to shout,
Kurt: "Wake up, don't you know that it's time to come out!"

chorus

Sam: A scooter for Jimmy,
Kurt: a dolly for Sue"

Basically, some of the Sam/Kurt fans took the lines that Sam and Kurt sing as a little story in itself, or a declaration. Sam's reference to the jack-in-the-box is about being closeted, to which Kurt replies that "it's time to come out!". The next line that Sam sings is "A scooter for Jimmy" which everyone was joking around saying it was Sam's reply to the "coming out" comment by Kurt. It's nonsensical and silly but fun lol.

I think everyone just noticed the mini-duet between Sam and Kurt and loved the 'scooter' line because it was cute and amusing and tied to Kurt singing the solo lines previous and after.

I'm still not entirely sure what the "Scooter for Jimmy" line has to do with Sam/Kurt... ???

I hope that helps explain it better.

Ahaha~ Oooooh~kay. I mean, I guessed on parts. And reading it lyrically, Kurt saying "Wake! Don't you know that its time to come out?" was pretty lolzy regardless.

But, thank you for the explanation. I feel better now. XD
