At the end of Wembley's Wonderful Whoopie Water the Fraggles, having partied all day and all night like a bunch of coked-out fuzzballs, all collapse simultaneously for a much-needed nap. I drew this after seeing that episode, because I thought the idea of the Fraggle Five all conked out together was too cute.

I'm trying a looser way of working, not zooming in on every finicky detail, but working quicker and at a greater distance. It helps me loosen up, which is a good thing, as my pictures sometimes look overworked to me. Of course, I see all sorts of flaws afterwards, like the foreshortening making Gobo look dwarfish and Boober's missing paunch, but whatever. Some wise man once said that every artist has ten thousand bad drawings in them, and eventually I'll work through 'em.
