I suppose the "emotional glowing eyes" thing doesn't just apply to ol' Springy huh!
Kudos to Puppet for being able to keep that all bottled up for such a long time though. Wonder how Springtrap will react.

Ian has kept quiet "for the sake of the children."It hasn't been at the front of his mind all this time, but it's a fact he's never forgotten.

Ian is mad, and rightfully so...but there have been many times when Ian has had a right to be mad and has not gone off like this. There have been times when he WAS mad, but not like this. I wonder if there's a point to bringing this up NOW. Bob is doing good right now...he fixed the blueprints so no one else would see the bad parts, he feels bad for what he's done and is SHOWING that regret, and above all, he's willingly opening up and confiding in Ian...and Ian is dredging up more 'dump on Bob' fuel. If there's no point, if Ian is just lashing out in anger at Bob's trying to rationalize the suffering he caused, this could set their relationship back a few steps, prove to Bob that Ian DOES have a limit, and will eventually give up on him. Could push Bob further into his certainty that there's no hope for redemption, so why even try. Though, considering Bob is the way he is...
It might make an impression on him. Seeing Ian loose his ironclad self control and give in to anger might make him more relatable to Bob. Heck, this might even be a lesson for IAN, that sometimes getting mad and shouting can be effective too, make Ian understand Bob a little better.
But...if Ian isn't deliberately going somewhere with this...like, he's leading to some kind of point, or forgiveness...I can see this hurting both of them and hurting their relationship, at least temporarily. Bob realizing he's even worse than he thought he was and either breaking down or turning his sorrow into anger and withdrawing again, Ian realizing he's hurt Bob more than he meant to and that he lost control and wondering if he's really as pure and forgiving as he's trying to be, both of them questioning their own motives and minds.
...part of me thinks its possible one of them might even attack the other...but only possible, not plausible.

One thing to remember about Ian is that he is far from perfect. He is as good as he knows how to be, but he makes mistakes. Maybe letting loose on BOB at this moment is a mistake, but if it is, well, he'll do what he can about the consequences.
Ian thinks that now BOB might actually be able to listen rather than getting angry and/or defensive, and there are things that he feels he has to tell him. He's been holding back a long time. We've been seeing a small degree of trust developing between these two: BOB seeking Ian's opinion on the blueprints, Ian telling BOB about his eyes. Heck, them telling each other about their respective pasts.
One of BOB's complaints has been how Ian is relentlessly, disgustingly nice. He doesn't trust people like that. Now that he's seeing that side of Ian, maybe it will make Ian more relatable to him. We'll see.

I think that now is not the time for Springtrap to talk. The Puppet has plenty more to say, and unlike Springtrap he's not going to talk about Bible passages!
And Ian has no ass to calm. Seriously, look at him. No tuchas at all.

That’s true. But then doesn’t that mean that Springaling will end? And if Springtrap is able to get out, will he get a balloon too? (sorry for all the questions)

Springaling will eventually end; I don't see the story going on forever and ever. I even have an ending in mind. However, that does not mean that I'm planning to end it just yet; there's plenty more that needs to happen beforehand.
As for the balloons, those are just metaphors. It could be balloons, it could be something else.

Oh. Oh boy. Ian-boi is pissed! I really like how you gave him the shiny pupils. Such a good little detail!
Wonder how Bob is going to react to this. He seems deeply confused/crashed. After all, he did it not knowing that the animatronics were haunted. He thought he was just destroying mindless machines. He's so against tormenting/torturing, and now, after 30 years, he learns that he's done it not even knowing about it. I hope it won't now traumatize him as much as the dog incident.
I can't help but notice that the whole "I hated that dog, but I wouldn't have tortured it to death" theme is connected to Operation Springtrap, even if he hasn't mentioned it yet. He knows the Faz-Ent guys had a reason to want him dead, it seems as he also thinks he deserved death, but I think that what hurts him the most is the method they chose. They could have shot him, or could have just made the suit in a way that would guarantee quick death, for example by placing a springlock right on the neck of it, to cut through the spine's core. But no, they designed it so that he would be bleeding out for at least few minutes, with every inch of his body pierced, and probably broken bones. In other words, they tortured him to death, and they did it on purpose.

You know what? I hadn't thought all that much about the parallel between the death of the dog and the way Springtrap was killed. It was there in the back of my mind, but I didn't develop it beyond a mere repeating theme.
As for how he's going to react to this...well, that remains to be seen.

The crazy thing is, this isn't something Springtrap MENT to do. He didn't know at the time that they were haunted, he thought he was just destroying rouge machines. Not how he'll react when he realises he actually WAS torturing the kids, something that he seemed so agast at the concept of. Puppet once said he turns pain and sadness into anger, but when it comes to stuff like this, it just seems to crush him instead of making him mad, he's already well aware of the weight of his crimes, but they were born of more of a mental illness spawned from his youth. Hoping this doesn't push his thinking into the 'he's not redeemable' mindset from that one series of short comics you did of the place burning down. I think you said once those wern't canon anyhow.
On a more lighter note, kinda wish you did more of the short replies and comics of the chars answering questions, would like to see what Puppet thinks of the fact a 'alt universe/canon' version of the puppet is a girl. XD

You're right, he had no idea the animatronics were haunted. he just thought they were buggy. Now that he knows what he did, it'll be one more weight on his soul. How he'll handle it remains to be seen.

Would you want to? The good thing about him is that he's kind and fair. Frequent anger would take away from that.

sophie12320 In reply to Negaduck9 [2017-12-31 09:11:34 +0000 UTC]
Oh, no, that's not what I meant. I meant that because he's so kind and fair, the sudden anger was so unexpected, that it's kind of nice to see that contrast. If it wasn't so rare, it wouldn't be so special. Kind of like, if Springtrap would be nice and emotional more, it wouldn't be so exiting to see.
So I definitely do not want Ian to lose that kindness of his, it just felt justified to see him angry like that all of the sudden ;]
Sorry that I have you the wrong impression
