I thought since Jet Set Radio was recently confirmed for Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network that I'd make a fan art for the game. One of the many things this game is known for is its unique hard cell-shaded visual style so I figured I should try a similar approach in this piece, but in my own rendition of course. Mew's color scheme is mainly blue so I figured I use a simple stylized look with a large majority of the palette being of some blue variant and I even went and used a blue filter to tie it all together.Related content

As soon as I get a Microsoft card, I'm buying this beast. I tried the demo and it is awesome so far. Anyway, my favorite female GGs are Gum and Mew, and this looks so dynamic in blue palette.Β

i think the character in the FG is great and rendered beautifully. also the layout alltogether is spot-on. i would suggest making the BG city buildings with the pen tool (or vectorized in Illustrator if you can) to achieve that crisp, sharp look i think you were goin for. But all-n-all, this is awesome, i really love the angle of the piece - tons of action!
