Second piece in my elemental series
It was rather tricky - there was no way I was going to be able to convey the desired effect in a simple fashion.. So, for the rock elemental, I chose to take my chances on making her a lil lava pit to wade around. Im particularly proud of the granite-ish dreads i gave her for her hair. However, now that the thing is finished, I realise her right arm (our right) is a lil too long, despite my best efforts to give it a melty effect >_< nevertheless, ya win some, ya lose some.

This is definately better butter..lol! Ur body proportions are getting better and better, are u taking a class? Everything is good but I just wanted to suggest if there's a way to make the outline of her body a bit more smoother. It would then look perfect.

And no, Im not taking any classes - when it comes to the anatomy, all I know is pretty much self-taught heh. And yeah the lineart isnt really smooth, I went a lil quickly on this one to be honest ^_^;;

love the molten lava driping off her. I can already tell the next batch of these elementals are gonna kick ass. the purple and orange really tie this together, and as Iselen commented, the right arm is a bit long and disjointed. but it's not an extremly noticible thing.

After seeing your first in this elemental piece, I don't think there's any way that this could hold a candle to that other piece. (No pun intended, if you didn't get it anyway, let's move along.), I love her pose, I've got to admit that even though her right arm is, as you said, a little too long, I think no one would really notice it, it's not standing out that much. Your anatomy is wonderful, so I wouldn't bother about that little thing. I love the dreadlocks, the molten rock form, the smouldering in her hair. Reminds me of flint, actually. As for her background, I think the only thing I would do is dull that lava pool right down. I'd say in some circumstances that lava could be colored as a very deep, almost plum kind of red, which would certainly match her background and herself a little more.
Excellent job, though. I look forward to seeing some more of these! Are you going to do wind? ;o Earth perhaps? <3

Heya thanks for the input - I might modify it at a later date, perhaps change the background altogether, but ill leave it aside for now and tackle the next one. I don't know which I will do next though >_<; so many possibilities lol
