I think the idea tor him to join aizen served as a way to.make ichigo and aizen look more badass
Try as he might, I don't believe the shit aizen pulled from his ass in the series. Lelouch from code geass schemed more beleivably. And he did it on the fly.
Don't like either of the three because ichigo suffers from favortism, aizen is just NO and Tousen was a walking allegory
