This is amazing! It looks almost like a war scene, after a city was bombed. You have a beautiful and very powerful style. The colours really add to the thick, burning feel of this.

Great colour selection and mixture of textures, reminds me of a 'J.M. Turner'.
You've got some great movement going on in there, really guides the viewers eyes
around the scene well, the dark area at top/left does a great job of keeping our eyes
from wandering out of the scene.
I don't know if you intended that mark above the tree to the left, but I find it very distracting.
That's just my opinion of course.
Apart from that, it's got a great loose style about it, keep it up.

You hold the long wooden bit, and the end with the bristles goes in the paint,
it took me a while to work it out too!!!

Turner is actually one of my favorite artists
I have planned the basics about the composition(mainly the color element) but after that point it was almost purely coincidental, the last three pieces I submitted (and two others that i dont really like) were all completed in about an hour (4 to 5am) I as you said there are a shitload of problems that I gotta take care of... The mark you were mentioning is actually a scar on the page-I accidentally tore the page while I was working on it...

My friend wants to use this as his band's cd design, is that okay if he does that? He can give you credit...he's also wants to write a song about it...if that's okay....lol I don't know why but he asked me to ask you if he can use it.
