Portrait I did of a friend. It got first place in Humanized Animal contest.I like mermaids but I don't like how similar most of them are. When I make my mermaid I go for the creepy ones. This one is of my absolute favorite animal ever: the coelacanth. Though they look scary and most people think they're ugly I think they're the coolest, cutest fishies ever <3 I would think if one was human, it would be quite cute. I have a race of mermaids in one of my stories that turn into coelacanth and live in the deep seas.
