Ah sorry sorry, looks like I finished this Bleach picture already...!I drew this a few days ago. I wanted a, to draw Rukia, and b, to try some different style techniques. Since the techniques are hard to notice, I'll say what they are.
Firstly, I inked the picture with mechanical pencil... which is slightly insane, but it makes for thinner, lighter lines and a different line flow and consistency- also it's just perfect for the Bleach style lineart shading *cough*.
SECONDLY I used the common mask method to color it in. (Most people use that technique, but I have a more productive one) I tell you what though, it's really... YAWNful! Ahh well it makes for a change...
Uh, setting... is sort of, Rukia's execution epoque? (I barely watched that a couple weeks ago..) incase you really need context.
*points* that was my first Rukia (drew this before the chocolates pic) and my first.. *points at the other guy* Byakuya... *scratches head*
Don't worry, I haven't got anything else planned yet.
Critique Discouraged -it's already been said, please trust that I know of my own shortcomings.

THEY'RE SO PURTY! >w< They look amazing~! And you're right! The mechanical pencil is really good for Bleach shading!!! I use mechanical pencil a lot when I sketch randomly (and somewhat crappily I may add) it does that kind of shading. It looks good here, but not when I use it. >_>

i lik this one. it's dramatic, it's got (in my mind) a story, and it's colorfull. everything that makesa pictuure good.

Rukia's head looks a little on the big side, and their arms are a bit short.
I really like the simple cel-style shading, and the contrast of their outfit paired with the fact they're facing opposite directions.

it looks good. a lot of people keep saying that Rukia's head is too big, or her arms and feet are too small, but if you go back and look at that part of the series, that's how she looks. she tiny, really really tiny. good job

And mechanical pencils are fun, aren't they? I'm currently using one to ink an anime scene and I have no idea whether it'll be usable once I scan and colour it.... but hey, it's enjoyable

Not bad at all! Rukia's arm is a bit short and for both their feet are too small, but I think you've got a good handle on Tite's style (he exaggerates the arms/legs and makes them much thinner than feasible, IMO).
I have a problem with the plane of reference though.... err.. the ground I mean. Their feet are all on the same line and it doesn't look right to me. Especially Byakuya's. And the way his feet are both flat seems to imply he's pausing there instead of walking by.
Or maybe I'm reading too much into it. Great job on the coloring, but all your stuff has looked great to me. That's why I rarely comment, all I'd be doing is saying "Looks awesome" over and over again!

Or maybe you missed the part where I said I rarely comment on nekoni's work because I generally think it all looks terrific? Gee, I guess reading comprehension is bad for everyone, isn't it? /sarcasm.
Nekoni, I apologize. I did miss the critique discouraged part and didn't mean to C&C when you didn't ask for it. I won't be causing any further problems in the comments here though.

The heads look a tad bit bigger than the bodies (especially Rukia's), and the hands and feet a tad small, but otherwise it's very good
