She reminded me of my long-time love for Harrier-hawks and we both joined the bandwagon.

Nice gryphon. Proud, full of himself reminds me of a the black gryphon, Skan( From The Book, The Black Gryphon).

A warning about Tafari; I didn't draw him all that well in this ref. You may have noticed, his beak is waay off, among other things. Also, I've since added more black on his primary and secondary coverts

Yeah, but they're more like this now [link] but even in that WIP I didn't draw them properly. I haven't quite figured out what's going on with his tail feathers, but most likely he's got two groups of feathers on either side of his tail, at the base and towards the tip, though none actually on the tip itself, if that makes sense
Something I didn't put in his ref *grumbles-lazy* is that as far as chest and leg fluff goes, he's supposed to be somewhat borzoi-esque [link] if that helps at all

Very sleek and majestic! I noticed that we both requested a Harrier-hawk gryphon at the same time (and they're not all that commonly popular), so I was curious to see how your character would turn out. He's gorgeous and I love his personality. My Kiya is very different. It reminds me of how the birds I work with--even the ones of same species--have such variation in appearance and personality.
