Description I wanted to challenge myself in this year's gingerbread baking, so here's the crunchy result, featuring the 5 platonic solids (although my sugar-gluing skills fail to live up to the rigorous regularity of their theoretical ideals).

The colors of icing are supposed to somewhat represent the "elements" that the ancient Greeks associated with each platonic solid (fire-tetrahedron, earth-cube, air-octahedron, aether-dodecahedron, water-icosahedron).

Text is added for illustrating their specific features, and Euler's theorem for showing what they have in common.
