This painting of a wolf is incredibly well-done in terms of fur and realism! I love the messiness of the fur and the individuality of each strand of fur, this effect makes the painting much more realistic than most drawings. The flow of the fur takes this painting to the next level, making all of the lovely lines and facial structure of the wolf visible to the viewer. The eyes are also done very well! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/> The technique that you used with the eyes made them have a feeling of depth and emotion. The wood counteracts the fluffiness of the wolf and provides some different aspects of the painting; a hard surface juxtaposes the wolf.
The only piece of criticism I have is this, the mouth has very well-drawn teeth, and the jaw seems very well placed, however the insides of the mouth, including the tongue, could be a little brighter with the colors of normal flesh, the tongue could be a little bigger, and the mouth could have a little bit of drool as well. The nose is also a little bit curved from the actual snout location... ^^'

Overall, I can say with confidence, this is a very fine piece of art! Nicely done! =^-^=
