Description
I painted a wolf today. I used new colored pencil techniques that I read in a book at the book store that I didn't end up buying but should have cus I got stuff from it.

The only media used in this was colored pencils. I used water and a brush in some areas, but used only 3 colors and white for the entire picture, along with a kneaded eraser. I just wanted to try out this new technique so the picture isn't... spectacular, but I'm proud of it.

It took me a couple of hours to finish this, even though it's not much, but I did put a lot of work into it, especially the nose, i put in like an hour on just that. I think it looks great, comparative to the rest of my works with colored pencils. I also never pushed hard on the colored pencils, everything that I did was just light strokes with some eraser and some burnishing with my white colored pencil.

I hesitate to call this a painting, but that's what it is. And the guy in the book kept calling everything a painting, despite us using colored pencils, and I used painting type techniques in here, so that's what category this belongs in.

I hope everyone likes it, I put a lot of work into it.
