People can take their beliefs and translations of what they believe to be truth overboard.. you will at some point disagree with people.

Lots of superstitious thinking mixed with verses, and ideas about what’s happening behind the scenes.. like angels, demons, etc

In or out mindset..the idea generally is that you are saved, or not. Not much room for other religions.

Constant projection and assumption of what God might be doing. One can only guess, sometimes when a tragedy happens it’s just people or nature, but religious people can project all kinds of assumptions as to why it happened or why it was allowed to happen without there being any closure or hard proof as to why. People can say some very insensitive things when they think God is judging.

People use religion to manipulate, sometimes intentionally, and sometimes not. Watch out.

People who are not Christians may ridicule your beliefs, and act in a biased way towards you. Generally, those who totally against religion will think you are a fool for believing it.

If Christianity is not the truth, and you are a Christian, you will have likely lived a life being manipulated by theology.

on Satanist: When people think of the word Satan, ---in some cases--- they immediately see the image of pain, torture and suffering - things that many would not enjoy. This image is often associated with the term Satanism. Ones deciding upon this way of life, (often referred to as the Left-Hand Path, obviously opposing the more common Right-Hand Path). These Left-Handers believe in spiritual enrichment from their own work and that they are solely responsible for the outcomes of their lives, with the Right-Handers having faith in the spiritual dissolution of themselves into something greater.

The common misunderstanding of Satanist is of them worshipping Satan where many do not actually worship any form of deity, nor follow a life of evil. Many Satanist today has nothing to do with worship pr more traditional religious beliefs, focussing upon other practises such as Individualism, Magick and Natural Law. However, some Satanist does choose to follow moral codes. for example, the 11 laws of LaVeyan Satanists.

The Satanic Cults that believed and accused of being practised by the Inquisition are told tales of baby-eating and murder and are not thought to be practised in today's world - in any official sense.

In other religions, Satan opposes God, with the names translating to 'accuser' or 'adversary'. In Philosophical Satanism, it almost seems as if the person themselves area representation of Satan, being selfish - one believe that they are the centre of the universe, their sole purpose to be greater than all other beings. Another form is known as LaVeyan Satanism, which follows the writing os Anton LaVey, author of the Satanic Bible and founder of the Church Of Satan. Following the structure that people are their own god, beliefs are that one should not change to fit society, but by their own person. There are many other forms of Satanism, a majority following the main idea that people should rely on themselves to improve, and not a god or spirit.

Actual belief in Satan must include the belief of God. as with the Left and Right-Hand Paths, one could not exist without the other. They oppose one another.
