Hi there! I wanted to commend you on a BEAUTIFUL rendering of this goddess. It is absolutely stunning! I also wanted to share with you a new blog that I've made called "The Daily Goddess" [link] that features this goddess (and your beautiful artwork as the first picture!) If you'd prefer I didn't post your work, please let me know and I will take it down immediately!

I see that you,r work is amazingly powerful and hold,s many meaning,s to each piece. i do some meaningful work my self i would like to be a store righter or fantasy painter some day. for now i,m finishing up high school and getting ready for college. i have not posted up much work lately, it seem,s my imagination is over flowing with idears and story,s but i just don,t have enough time to put them all on paper but i do put unfinished work up a lot to show people how i create these things,
and i do post the finished work up but it takes time. and my mind just does not take a brake i,m alway,s coming up with new story and plans.

lol I have an OC named Ran as well, and she is the sea goddess... but she doesn't use nets to drag people to their death... she's all over my profile page ^^ her character was actually inspired by just the name XD
I love your use of all thing water in this ^_^

Oh, I see how it is. Too popular to hang old with your old pal Cappy, huh?! Actually, I stumbled across one of your old comments when I was trying to clean my gallery up, so I'd figure I'd waddle on over to see what you've been up to!
You've definitely been up to some great stuff. Your watercolo(u)r work is always impressive. I swear, the things you draw seem to jump off the page. Personally, I think you have this "classical" feel to most of the work you produce. This is the kind of stuff that's professional enough to grace covers and posters...maybe mousepads.
You definitely have them madd skillz still, and I'm glad to see it's being appreciated. Take care and keep on rockin' my fellow art buddy!

I love Norse mythology.
I also love Greek and the first thing I saw when I looked at this was Aphrodite coming from the sea.
This is an intense picture. Amazing. Incredible.

wow i like looking at watercolour pics and this really captures the 'mythological' aspect of the picture. The border you did is awesome as well, and you did her as a strong motherly character which is fantastic and very representative of how I would imagine Ran to be. I love norse mythology and this piece certainly inspires me to do some myself (though not in watercolour *horror* that medium scares me so that i won't even try it) I am in awe of people who paint in watercolour.

She looks pretty snooty. Like that color scheme. It would fit right into one of my old fairy tale books.

I love the falling water! I'm drawing something with similar elements involved, and you might have just given me the idea I was looking for... thanks a ton! I love it when that happens. This is very classy, by the way -- a welcome relief from the overdone interpretations of Norse mythological creatures.

Coffee... how do you use coffee in painting watercolours? Or do you mean you needed to drink a lot of it? 8)
