The lack of horns threw me, but this IS GORRRRGEOUUUUUUUUUUS!!!!!!!! Love the frontal fade in the gold, the texture, the shape of Smaug, the shading-- it's simply spectacular!!! EXEMPLARY!

I don't know why, but I've always avoided drawing horned dragons. I guess I got sick of them since many of my friends drawed them so much. xD
I am still a bit bummed about those wings that I threw in there. Tried to get the feeling of him laying flat on the gold and couldn't figure out how wings actually would set like that.
