Hi `nenina

You have a very distinctive and personal style, your texturing and colour work is quite superb....I can see from your gallery in general.

This image of a girl is quite a simple one to start off with, or rather the initial idea is seemingly basic... you have somehow made into into much more.
I could almost call it abstract were it not for the figure of the girl.
Initially this reminds me of an x-ray, the way you have bordered the work adds to the x-ray effect....but primarily it is your use of colour....dark background contrasting with the light foreground really gives it an excellent "negative" effect.
Your use of greens and blues, subtle and not overbearing....just right I would say. I love her lips, they look stunning.

What does this make me feel? It certainly transmits sadness and a melancholic feeling. Her cracking face forming into what looks like a tear is very nicely done. Normally I associate stars with hope and things unknown. Perhaps there is a star inside her ready to spring forth.....or perhaps she is longing to touch something she knows she will never have, something quite impossible.

excellent job here, this is like some you'd see on drugs (not that i'd know )

anyway, excellent manip, subtle use of tones, and the textures work pretty well too it has been blended rather excellently

Wow, you've gotten quite a few comments here. I hope you don't mind if I spoil you with one more

My favorite part of the image are the star shapes that are scattered about. What's really cool, I think, is how the texture of the image makes it kind of flow around like soft wrinkles in a blanket, but then there's a rough kind of rip or tear across the face. The colors are great too!
