I am so proud of this pic!! This must be one of the best I have drawn in a while.

Now the story behind this, just TRY to imagine that Zagato and Emeraude had a child. Yes, I am building this off my What if a Daughter pic. I drew that randomly, but then I thought, "Wouldn't it have been interesting if they really had a daughter, and what would her name be?" I also decided the outfit I had drawn for was WAY to simple for the child of the High Priest and Princess of Cephiro. So I kinda played around with a lot of the costumes in the Manga, and came up with an armor almost entirely based on Dark Emeraude's. Hey!! It was cool looking!!

Then I put in a nice portrait of her parents in the background. I really had wanted to use the darker version of Emeraude, but I couldn't find a good pose that would have fit. Darn. I HATE the petty little crying pillar of Cephiro. I liked the one that kicked butt!! And I love that smile on Zagato's face. *smiles broadly* I love my bishounen.....*cough cough*

When it came to doing the background, I had a hard time deciding who would take up most of the space. Then I thought, "Hey, she has a really fancy armor, probably inspired by her father. Plus that look on her face is definently a trait of his." But I didn't want her all fancy and dark, so I put let Emeraude's hair spread out, showing that somewhere beneath Saphira's tough exterior, she had a soft, innocent side.

Ok, is that a nice explanation for you or what? Probably a bit too long, but I really wanted to tell everything that is going on in this picture since some of you are not smart enough to figure it out on your own. No insult meant. ()
