While Hiromi's a canon character in "Shiki", he never arose after dying but in my alternate universe, he arose as a Jinrou.

Name: Hiromi Murasako

Age: 9 years old

Personality: Hiromi is a sweet and sensitive boy whose also kind, caring, friendly and fairly energetic. He makes a great friend and brother to have plus being a big brother, he has a sense of responsibility towards his little sister Chika and unofficial little brother Susumu. Since his Jinrou status was revealed to him, he's gained an even greater sense of responsibility to use his powers wisely plus he's becoming more and more willing to stand up to bullies as he doesn't want other people to go through what he did at his Uncle Masao's hands back at Sotoba.

Jinrou Appearance: Since Jinrou are Human looking, Hiromi has retained his Human appearance but can manipulate his eyes to look scary like Shiki can as well as unsheathe his vampire fangs though he only does these things as a last resort as he doesn't like to scare people.

Physical attributes: Besides the standard Jinrou abilities, Hiromi's in great shape physically and has a lot of stamina. Also, he seems to have a natural charm that puts people at ease and draws them to him. While he had this ability to an extent as a Human, as a Jinrou, Hiromi's found himself to be an attention magnet which causes him to blush shyly.

Physical weaknesses: Being a child, Hiromi has limits to his physical strength so he can be overpowered by a bigger Jinrou plus he can be killed by a stake to the heart.

Personality weaknesses: Back at Sotoba, Hiromi had confidence issues and was /and still is/ somewhat shy plus when he has personal problems, he tries to keep them to himself for various reasons.

Likes: His family and friends, playing outside, nice sunny days, sports activities, summer, learning new things, burgers and fries, ice cream, helping out his family and friends, making friends, water gun and snowball fights, cheering people up, honeybees, etc.

Dislikes: Losing friends, bullies, being the centre of attention, Japanese hornets, the dark /formerly/, overly spicy foods, worrying people, etc.

Fears: His Uncle Masao /formerly/, losing his family and friends, Japanese hornets, people thinking badly of him, lightning, etc.

Biography: Hiromi Murasako was conceived and born in Sotoba when his mother was around 16 years old. He had a normal and happy childhood except of course for being bullied and physically abused by his uncle Masao which emotionally traumatized him and caused him to have confidence issues. He was happy when his little sister Chika was born and strove to be a great big brother to her and the two of them got along well even though Chika was an energetic and tough little girl who Hiromi laboured to keep under control when his parents and grandfather weren't around. Hiromi also made friends with some of the other kids in Sotoba such as Miyako and Susumu /the latter of whom became a defacto little brother figure to him/.

When Hiromi was 9 years old, the Shiki family moved in and while welcomed by most people in the village, a mysterious illness emerged and started to kill off those who caught it including Miyako and Susumu which deeply saddened Hiromi and Chika but their parents and grandfather helped them get through it. Then strangely enough, Hiromi caught the illness and fell gravely ill which deeply worried his family /but which pleased Masao which got him hit by his father and almost by his big brother (whose Hiromi's dad)/. He apologized for making them worry as he hates making people he cares about worry but they reassured him that it wasn't his fault.

Then out of some sort of miracle, Hiromi made a full recovery which left his family overjoyed. Doctor Ozaki examined him and found him to be in perfect health which led the villagers to see Hiromi as a symbol of hope that the disease could be conquered and came to see him as special. Hiromi of course blushed at all the attention and didn't see himself as special but was pleased that he was making people happy. All the fuss involving him however made his family not notice that Masao had fallen ill and by the time they went to check on him, he was found dead in his room and due to his rotten attitude in life, few people truly mourned his death. Masao's father felt like he'd failed to raise him properly and apologized to Masao's body for his failure while Hiromi quietly forgave his uncle for how he treated him in life.

Of course, what actually happened was that the Shiki family led by Sunako was turning people into more Shiki and then using them to turn other living Humans in the village into Shiki and Hiromi /along with Masao/ happened to be two of their victims. The middle aged librarian Yuzuki had targeted Hiromi as he was fond of him in more ways then one /though he'd never act upon his desires and would fight like a lion to protect Hiromi from abuse/ and was pleased when he arose as a Jinrou. He'd targeted Masao however because he was angry at how he'd abused Hiromi /Miyako had covertly read Masao's mind one night and learned of this and then told Yuzuki about it/ and wanted him to either die forever or arise as a Shiki so he could be hard on him.

When Doctor Ozaki learned the truth about what was going on, he automatically thought of Hiromi as being evil but Seishin managed to get him not to harm Hiromi and told him that Hiromi likely had no idea what he'd become. Once the existence of the Shiki was exposed however, Seishin managed to warn Hiromi and his family about what was going to happen and they managed to hastily pack up and leave the village to keep Hiromi from getting killed except for his grandfather who opted to remain behind to lay Masao to rest which he did only to be killed by some of the other villagers for helping Hiromi escape who they viewed as evil for being a vampire.

Soon after, Hiromi and his family along with their car got sucked into another dimension by an unknown force which is known as Metropolis where they were forced to avoid the various horrors in it. To survive and to insure that Hiromi wouldn't be alone, his parents and little sister Chika let him suck them dry and they arose as Jinrou. Hiromi started with Chika while hugging her and then the two of them turned their mother and then she turned their father/her husband into a Jinrou. Later on, they found other vampires and lived with them until the other Shiki from Sotoba came to Metropolis and Hiromi and his family were tearfully reunited with their friends and neighbours.

Miyako and Susumu introduced Shizuka to Hiromi and Chika who welcomed her with open arms and together, the 5 of them became known as the Shiki kids and to this day, use their powers to help those in need as best they can. What new adventures lie in store for Hiromi? Time will tell.
