Alas, preparing for the convention next weekend I had discovered that my old Megaman Battle Damage picture was apparently lost when I had to restore my laptop. I was so mad - how in the world did I miss this image when I'm usually really good about backing up all of my information. At the very least it was a single con image, rather than something very important for business work (I am extremely paranoid about losing any of my business work. Most of my projects are backed up to 1-4 external hard drives. O_O )

Anyway, usually when I lose a file like this I just kiss it goodbye, but I was pretty proud of the old Mega Man picture and I had some changes I had wanted to make to it. I figure this is my opportunity to remake it with the differences I had in mind. This poster took about 6 hours, not as long as the first time but the first image I was drawing my shapes from the sketch. This one I referenced the first image.

The main difference is that he's more fierce, the background is darker and the light source is a little different, and he's a bit 'bloodier' (oily?). I wanted to make the battle feel more intense, but not too macabre.
