Description Kirk finds Spock in trouble and experiences deja vu... and of course reacts in his usual gung-ho way. He goes charging off after his Vulcan.

This took a long time to draw by hand so I'd really appreciate comments, criticism... happy faces

I'm with ~Passion-Cherry, I avoid all reference to st2 with a passion as it makes me cry  but what's said in the last panel is spot on... Kirk can't handle losing Spock again.

Oh my, you had to remind me of the end of the third movie... I always cry so much with that ;_; But I love this comic, it is so... well, so TRUE! And I loved how you did Spock on the first panel and Kirk on the second (great job with perspective there). Kirk's arm looks a bit too big to me in the last panel though, but I take it you were already fed up by that point (happens to me a lot, lol) in it isn't that big of a mistake really. All in all, a very nice comic!

Here, have a slash cookie for your effort!

Sorry, the end of the 3rd movie was very sad. I cried the first few times I saw it but manage past the scene now because I know that it's only a temporary death.

There are a lot of things wrong with the last panel. I kind of got frustrated and gave up on it. I'll add big arms to the list. But I'm so happy that you love it! I like drawing comics because I can both draw and tell a story. The drawing part I need to work on a lot more.

Thanks for the slash cookie. It looks yummy!

Slash fangirls of this pairing may be pleased with this... lol These two are the granddaddies of slash, or so I heard~

(Why am I not liking Kirk's hair in the last panel? D: Or am I just being picky? )

You're absolutely right that Kirk and Spock were probably the first major source of slash. Most of the suggestive stuff is canon too so it's not too difficult to play with.

Well, I'm still learning how to draw and it takes me a very longggg time to do so, so I rushed the last panel. I don't like Kirk's hair in it either.

I've noticed that quite a bit while watching the series.

XD It'll probably take a while to get his hair right. Nice comic though~

It probably will take a while to get the hair right, but I'll give it my best shot. Thanks again!

You're correct on both assumptions there.
(It's called slash because "Kirk/Spock" was the way to differentiate a romantic pairing from one of friendship, which was simply "Kirk and Spock," among fanfiction writers).

, nice job! It entirely captures Kirk's feelings for Spock.

So it's true! XD Makes me wonder who thought these two were a pairing back in the sixties, other then possible Gene Roddenberry himself.

I guess a good many people, seeing as it was an accepted term that most of the fan community understood.
Honestly, if people back then (being a bit more conservative about such matters than we are today) understood their relationship, it must be pretty obvious.

I couldn't agree more with that. Though, I wonder what they would think of a Yaoi fangirl from our time running around proclaiming that Spock and Kirk were meant to be...

I think that would be called "lynching."
Yaoi fangirls are rarely discreet...

I think that the term 'slash' originated from the slash in between the Kirk and Spock.

Thanks so much for your kind comments!
