Description
The Original Example and Trope-Namer of "the Emiya" would be Fate Stay Night with Shiro Emiya. Who adopted his life-savers ideals of a "saving hero", despite the massive difficulties that came with that.Now Akamatsu used the trope... I fear what else he has planned

I think in this case, considering how ruthless she can be (honestly, I think the only reason we haven't seen her kill anyone is because no one's paid her to), she'd be a bit closer to Kiritsugu, but funding an orphanage.

Still an Emiya even if Kiritsugu. Archer can be ruthless too. After all, he killed a lot of people before his death as a human. Either way, 'the Emiya' still applies.

Although the name is the same, Kiritsugu doesn't fit "the Emiya" as neogoki's trope-idea of "child saved by hero and taking that heroes ideals as his own". The Archer timeline Shirou would be a subversion--firstly, he would not work as a comparison to Mana because up until his death he continued to try to follow the ideal of being a hero (Mana is rather... mercenary), and secondly, because he did eventually abandon those ideals after becoming a Counter Guardian.

But he elected to kill his father of his own accord, not because he was inspired by her. And his idea of being a "hero of justice" was something he said to Shirley before the Dead Apostle shit his father was messing with ruined the island, existing independent of Natalia entirely. She fueled and directed it, yeah, and enabled him to pursue his ideal, but she wasn't the origin of it.
