I was curious: how did you make it so that the tail is out of the frame and overlapping the site's background?

Its a .png (24). With the png file format you can have parts of the canvas be transparent, and its a file format that's viewable on most web browsers without the need for special software.

I'm curious about who or what she/he is looking at. i'm falling in love with the contrast of the colors. the fine lines of the whiskers and skinny tail have me smiling.
