Oh - my - god.What else I can say?
Thanks to my boyfriend ~Sissilisko I got back my will to draw something more detailed than usually and so this is for him.
Yeah. I started this about three weeks ago and I worked on it one day. since then it has been waiting to be finished in depths of my computer. Well, at last saturday I continued with this and had it finished today. YES! after almost 30 hours of work it is done! Most of time it I spend with scales of Myrskykiitäjä (I named the dragon that way. xD) and quess what? I'm even happy how they came out. n___n
Hmmm I really hope you enjoy watching it as musch as I did enjoy working on it <3

The detail in this art is amazing. I love the contradiction of a lightening dragon going through water. I believe that you used all 30 hrs. to the fullest for this and I would put this on my wall as a poster. The way the background flows is awesome as well. The sun and the darkness of the sky complement the scales of the dragon perfectly.

My favorite part of the dragon is it's head. The way it look is ferocious. I sure many people, especially syfy-lovers, would enjoy to look at this image. I will definitely add this to my favs and watch list.

Gorgeous piece! The cracks on the wings is an amazing detail to include. Likewise, the individual skin texture is just fantastic.
Because this is a critique, I have to add in something other than just lots of gushing about how much I love it.
My only issue is in perceiving the foreground material. The way it is portrayed, it is difficult to determine if it is water or a frozen ice sheet. The only reason I would even suspect water is that there is a little bit of splashing where the dragon hits the surface. If that wasn't there, I would most certainly conclude that the dragon was flying over an ice sheet. Either foreground would be suitable, but as an observer, it is hard for me to tell which one is actually being used.
If the foreground surface is, in fact, water, then it's missing a few things. The water is kind of splashing sideways, for one. As the dragon hits the surface, the water should be splashing forward-ish, either towards the camera or over the dragon (or both) since that's where the dragon's impact should be pushing it. In addition, some of the water closest to the background and some being splashed should be "white" as it is reflecting the sun in the background given the angle of the viewer. Lastly, we're missing some sea foam. Normally the ocean wouldn't have any, but the dragon is disturbing and churning up the water as it crashes.
If the foreground is instead ICE, then we only need a few corrections. Once again, there should be flying debris in front of the chest of the dragon as it impacts the surface, and the pieces of ice should probably look more clear-cut. Some cracks on the surface near the impact point would also help.
Once again, I absolutely adore this piece and your work and general, and the only reason I would nit-pick is due to the request for a critique.
