Description I'm a procrastinator. I finished this back in January. But anyway...

"Turq" - short for Turquoise

This guy has been sitting, unpainted on my desk for several months... so when I went home for Christmas, I decided to (MORTAL COMBAT) finish him!

Colors were inspired by the Copper Dragon of the D&D series.
Took a total of... too long.

Super Sculpey on wire armature painted with acrylics.

Holy heck! This is wonderful!
All those details and scales must have taken ages to form.

Hes beautiful! I love his colors and skin texture and feet. lol I'm bad at making feet. What did you use to make the scale texturing on his skin?

I have a plastic stick (that's what I call it) that I got from my mom's pottery boxes. I individually 'carve' out the scale texture before the clay is baked. Some might say there is an easier way to put texture on sculptures... but I can never get the pattern I want with that.

Besides... I'm lazy

Thanks!
