Description So I TOTAL forgot about this sculpture this poor guy has been sitting on my shelf just waiting for some attention

THis guy is made with high fire clay and then was air brushed, I did him like a year ago and he needs some love. He's almost a foot and a half long he's a big guy He is completely hollow and there is no armature underneath he is a self supporting sculpture.

Mind=blown a bit. This thing is epic. I absolutely love that pose, and the whole design of the dragon (and the forefeet C: ). That and it's sans armature. How on earth. Must be something different about the kind of clay.

Thank you he was done just for fun for my sculpture class in college my professor got a kick out of it . It's earthen ware clay so once its fired it turns as hard as a rock

Very welcome~ That's awesome. I want a sculpture class, haha. That sounds fun. Plus it would be interesting to play around with different mediums like that. The closest I've used to earthenware clay is natural clay from a lake bank Can't say it was the purest stuff either.

I've used clay off the river bank before to then fired it in a bonfire, they all broke
