Rahiel was once a proud warrior among the heavenly ranks with an occasional stubborn streak and an impeccably strong will. Until she took everything from him.

Unlike so many before him, he was the first to escape her... but at a cost. With part of his soul destroyed, it became incompatible with his Grace and he Fell. His once glowing, bright white wings corrupted with black rot. In the process of losing a portion of his soul, this decay ate into his skin.

Once a proud, headstrong warrior, he became weaker than even the weakest of Fallen. To the few fellow angels he happens to encounter after being stripped of his access to the collective consciousness of Heaven, he is looked upon as gut-wrenchingly mutilated. Partly dead. To demons and Fallen he's blood in the water; a wounded angel that's easy pickings for a quick buck. At least, so they think.

Coming to terms with his limitations has been less than easy, but it's done little to the strength of his persevering spirit.
