Here we have Carl Borman (Left) and Laurence Belmont (Right). These characters are based off legendary horror movie actors, Borris Karloff and Bela Lugosi.

Now a retired movie actor, Carl Borman is works as an elementary school principal. He runs the school firm and well. But sometimes he acts rather stangely (and sometimes scary) toward the students and the school staff. At his age, he tends to forget he's not the great performer he once was.

Hungarian immigrant Laurence Belmont, also a former actor, works as a 4th grade elementary school teacher. Under the watch of Prinicpal Borman, Belmont feels outranked by him and has a bitter hatred for his superior. Much like Borman, Belmont can't seem to balance the realm of real life and his former acting career.

Their relationship is reminiscent of the rivalry between Karloff and Lugosi. They tempt to outstage one another and are constantly at each other's throats. You gotta love conflict.
