My best painting as it not only captures what I was feeling at the time but is a rarity in that I don't actually own the piece anymore. I sent it on to a good friend as a birthday present. Also it's blue unless you hadn't already noticed, that is pretty strange for my gallery too.

I used watercolours for the backgroundΒ and acrylics for the foreground as they are opaque and you don't need to build up layers to getΒ a rich colour.
